The Customs/FBR is looking for dedicated individuals who meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualification:
Matric (Minimum requirement)
Age Limit:
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 25 + 5 = 30 years (including 5 years general age relaxation)
Physical Standards for Sepoy:
For Male Candidates:
Height: 5' - 6" (Five feet, six inches)
Chest: 32" - 33.5"
For Female Candidates:
Height: 5' - 2" (Five feet, two inches)
Note: Physical tests (running, push-ups, chin-ups etc.) will be conducted, and female candidates will undergo a physical standard test (Height and others aforementioned tests).
Understanding Age Relaxation
The good news is that various categories are eligible for additional age relaxation beyond the general 5 years:
a. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, recognized tribes of the Tribal Areas, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan for all posts under the Federal Government: 03 years
b. Candidates belonging to Sindh (R) and Balochistan for posts in BPS 15 and below under the Federal Government: 03 years
Released or Retired Officers/Personnel of the Armed Forces of Pakistan: 15 years or the number of years actually served in the Armed Forces of Pakistan, whichever is less.
Widow, son or daughter of a deceased civil servant who dies during service: 05 years
How to Apply: Key Instructions
The application process is straightforward, and it's vital to follow these instructions carefully:
Online Application Only: Eligible candidates are advised to apply online through the Departmental Website.
Manual or hard copy applications will NOT be accepted.
Contract Basis: Appointments will initially be made on a contract basis for a period of two (02) years, extendable for another two (02) years if needed.
Regional Quotas: Vacancies will be filled based on provincial/region/district quotas as defined by the Establishment Division.
Field Formations: Sepoy (BS-05) vacancies are ordinarily for field formations (e.g., airports, dry ports, borders), not headquarters.
Required Documents: Candidates will need to bring original educational documents, Domicile, Experience Certificates (if any), and attested copies of all documents at the time of interview.
Screening & Skill Tests: Relevant tests will be conducted as per recruitment policy.
Minority Quota: 10% quota for women and 5% quota for minorities (non-Muslims) will be strictly observed.
No TA/DA: No Traveling Allowance or Daily Allowance will be admissible for tests/interviews.
